The transparent lava would only be used if you were in lava. I'm speaking from experience

Why would Creative mode be used in PvP matches? You do realize that you can't go in to lava, unless you like to kill yourself a lot.

I see no problems with Optifine being enabled for pvp.

I don't think it matters if someone is using optifine in pvp
