She means that she doesn't understand what it does. Basically, it auto-resizes the picture to whatever length or width you want. Say you have a picture that is 1280 pixels wide and 960 pixels high. That's obviously too big for the forums, so you would use [ img width = 640](spaces so that it doesn't actually show an image). This would change the width from 1280 pixels to a more reasonable 640. It also scales the height. Since 640 is half of 1280, it will also make the height half of 960, which is 480. The only reason there are two resizing tags is because sometimes it is easier to make an image a certain height instead of a certain width, or vice versa.

You can give me it and I'll size it down with photoshop, it's more professional so it won't look bad when sized down.

It's a screenshot, so I don't know how to send it, I'll try playing around with it ;p
