Several suggestions

SalsaInABowl:
I added a third suggestion and gave the second one a bit more clarity.

I still think this is a bad idea. Sorry.

I think it is a great idea!

All the grief can get rolled back, and it's not the biggest hassle in the world.

Think about it. If we had the most dedicated griefer come on here:

Griefer griefs. Ban.

Pays $10 to be unbanned.

Griefer griefs. Ban.

Pays $10 to be unbanned.

Griefer griefs. Ban.

Pays $10 to be unbanned.

This could be a great opportunity for the server to get some good donation money, and most griefers won't pay $10 just to keep griefing. Only the people who got banned who really wanna start or keep playing on the server will pay. A few will pay just to cause more trouble, but then they just get banned again (and hopefully give more moneyz because everyone loves the moneyz)

DJAlphaWolf:
1. By adding a filter, we remove swears completely. This would eliminate the need for the "no excessive swearing" rule because swearing would cease to exist. We would have to alter the rules (or just our words), which shouldn't be a big problem. The only thing is: Do we all really wanna filter the server of swears? Is it so out of control that we need to filter it?

2. Eh. Go right ahead. There is no way to lose here. Even if the griefer gets set free, we still got money and can ban him when he screws up again. Lets see if opti will consider this....

3. I think it can go both ways. As the first sentence says in the thread,

--- Quote from: ViperZeroOne on May 24, 2012, 11:46:57 pm ---It's a suggestion to those who are applying for the position of Moderator.  A suggestion to truly consider what it means to be a Moderator before you apply.

The quote shows is it as a suggestion, which it is. But for the same reasons, of being a guide on how to get mod, it could fit well in the mod app sections. I'm undecided xD

Xeadin:
Where it is is fine-- we've had nobody harangue us about that topic's location, so, at this point, I wouldn't be too worried about that.

TheWholeLoaf:
I like the first one but the second one about players paying to be unbanned absolutly not, most perm bans are xrayers or players that have earned 4+ bans who had their chances.
For the moderator post, Im pretty sure it says in the first line why it should be in suggestions.
