Iron farms not allowed anymore?

A Iron farm is a farm that harvest iron from Iron Golems.

I have seen some popular guy on youtube said it was a glitch , because the golems are made to protect the villagers
not getting killed

I don't see anything wrong with being afk and making money, if you put the effort in to build a farm.

I don't know which guy said it was a glitch, but iron golems spawning are 100% part of the game mechanics. Diverting them off using water? Yup, still game mechanics. Killing them? No change there.

So where does the glitch come in?
