EDIT: I went into the sound thing in the bottom-right corner, and clicked mixer. It showed the device working, but not the 'system sounds' in applications. I clicked on the little computer with the music 8th note on it and I continuously hit random things to set has default, clicking everywhere and suddenly my iTunes playlist went full blast. It's better.
