Spawn rates

I have noticed for a few days now that there are no squid and hardly any mobs  :-\ .
Is this a major issue or just a minor break down?
Is it going to be fixed and when?

Could you please show me where the "fine" spawn rates are and where squids are please?
A reply would be much appreciated.

Shoulda been on a few months ago, before the plugin that killed mobs too close to eachother.
The spawn rates are just about fine but look in the member world.

OhSoSneeky, pigs and cows are rampant near my house, and I live near a lake constantly spawning squids.
