If you want to be fair it should be about 3000 a stack.

The market sells glowstone for $200 for 8 blocks. Multiply that by 8 (8x8=64) and you get 1,200 plus the fact you need to surround the glowstone with 4 peices of redstone (64x4=256 pices of redstone needed) The market sells redstone for $250 for 32 peices. So do the math again. (256\32=8 32's)  Then (8x250= 2,000) so in reality it should be exactly 3,200 if someone wants to make no profit from you, seeing as you have to buy glowstone from the market (still worth a lot trying to find it in the nether)

So your price of $599 is a rip off. You spend more money buying glowstone.

$3,000 would be a loss of $200.
$3,200 would have zero profit value

But up to you.....

That's not what he means; in theory, 1 stack of redstone lamps according to the markets price scheme is equal to $3200. Considering you'd want to pay less than the market, he's advising you to buy for $3000, saving $200 per stack. Try reading before making statements next time.
