Moderator Application- Mopar23 [Self Rejected]

Why you should become a moderator? :

I became a trusted sometime in late May. I was asked in late July, “Mopar, are you gunna make a mod app?” I said, “No, I’m not ready for it.” And I wasn’t. But recently, I have gotten much better at getting to know Minecraft better than most players I meet, and I got to be a Mod on another server that has many of them same plugins as Opticraft, and has a good amount of players. I looked at that experience, and now, I think I am ready for the Mod status on Opticraft. I am finding myself being bored more and more on Opticraft, and I think, no, I KNOW that having Mod will completely eliminate that boredom.

Whenever someone asks a question, I love to answer it. If I am confused by the question, I ask more about what they mean. I always try and try and try to answer there question truthfully and give the best explanation I can. (I know this will be irrellevent to this server, but I’m putting it in anyways.) Since I have things like World Edit and /give, I always have a complete Item ID list open behind my Minecraft window. I also used to have a LB “Cheat Sheet” to help me with lb, because the first time I did it, I rolled back more than I wanted. Also, whenever I plan to do something, I love to first plan it out in a Grid notebook, like for math, and then, if I have time, I put it into a Microsoft Excel sheet. What I’m trying to say here, is that I am very responsible. If I want to do or learn something, I will stop at nothing to be the best I can be at that. That goes for being a Mod too.

I have talked to mods, and I realize how busy they are. I realize that many players want to be mod, get it, and then resign quickly because they can’t handle it. I can see why. Some people on Minecraft are flat out jerks. The spammers; the mad people who got griefed; the mad people who grief, and so on. They have no respect for moderators. I cannot say I will be immune to these comments, but I will try 110% to turn those comments into a lesson for both me and the other player. I would also make a good mod because no matter what is going on in my real life, I always have a good mood on Minecraft. Ask some of my friends, they’ll back me up on that. I would always be willing to help people, I would respect them, and I would respect my rights.

Lastly, I want to be a mod so I can be an actual help to the server. I still want to help answer questions, along with rolling back those unwanted griefers, placing water, and whatever the other jobs Mods do that no one knows about. I would make a great mod, and I feel I just might go all the way. But of course that’s up to you.
