Help with Profile Picture
« on: September 12, 2012, 03:33:30 am »
Ok, I'm trying to use my skin as the picture and I got it from the skindex site. I put in the URL like I'm supposed to but it didn't work  :'(. All it shows is a box with a little square type thing inside. What did I do wrong?  ???

It means it's a broken link or you didn't tag the url correctly. Try putting IMG tags around the url, like so:

Code: [Select]
[img]url[/img]

It doesn't look like it has worked to me, you need to find the image's direct link. You can usually find this by right clicking the image on the page and selecting "copy image URL" or "copy image location". Paste that into the profile picture field while editing your profile and it should work fine.

Make sure it has the image type at the end of the link, in this case, .png. Example:
Code: [Select]
http://www.opticraft.net/Themes/Opti/images/logo_1.png

I know exactly what the problem is now: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/309833/my-girlskin/

It has to be a link that ends with some sort of image file, such as .png, .jpg, etc. -- not a website link.
