Looking for a city to live in?
You've come to the right place, the Golden Nations is full of great cities that are consistently active, up kept, and virtually grief free. At the bottom of the post you will find the rankings of the cities in the nations(cities are ranked based on quality and activity). Directly below is our list of cities and their information. [this is not an official opticraft page, nor is our ranking scale related to anything created within the server. It is used solely by The Golden Nations

The Golden Nations are a league of cities helping one another out. Each city maintains its full independence, and in no way is totally influenced by a centralized government. The city's are all run individually however stay connected through trade and similar means. A note that I would like to make clear, if you own the city and join, you will still maintain full ownership of your city, nothing will change in your government or ownership.
We will always be ready to accept new members. Benefits of the league included
-better advertisement for your city
-more readily available trade
-Many people in The Golden Nations are trusted and can place water for you if needed
-creative help
-and much much more!

Acceptance comes at no cost but you must be aprooved

(click to show/hide) The following is a document on procedures and by-laws in the Golden Nations.

These laws do not apply to, nor were they asigned by opticraft. The Golden Nations is completly subject to Opticraft rules and in no way do these laws apply anywhere outside of the Golden Nations
-Voting
Voting must be used when deciding anything that may effect more than one city, or when it directly involves the Golden Nations

When voting, majority vote will decide the outcome.

If there is a tie between those for and against the proposal the head of the council (myself) will make the final decision.

City Rankings will be voted on

A city can not vote for their own promotion

-Laws
No law can or will be created limiting the owner of a city.

Owners remain in complete control of their city laws, along with acceptance terms, and citizen control.

A city must maintain itself so that is considered a high quality city

City owners must try their hardest to ensure that the city remains ungriefed

Amendments may be suggested by city owners and voted on in council, notify the head of the council if you wish to propose an amendment

A city may leave the nations at will

No city may be forced out unless they are perma-banned, temporarily banned, or fail to upkeep their city. In the case of failure to upkeep the city or a temporary ban the council must vote on expulsion if it is considered.

-Stone

* New cities that are clean well developed and have recently been accepted into the Golden Nations. (City must show exceptional qualities to be accepted)
* Or cities that well maintain themselves but are in no way regularly active in the nations (this does not put you at risk of expulsion)
* Or cities that are not well maintained and may be at risk of expulsion (these cities will be in red)
This legislation is subject to change however, it is without reserve that the By-Laws of the Golden Nations is put into act.

Wanna Live here?Residency rules and applications will very from city to city. These cities will all be great to live in and well maintained. They will all offer everything you need to get your start, enjoy your time, or socialize in minecraft.

Keep in mind that due to the fact that there is no strong central government no town will be exactly alike.
