It's been a long, long time since there has been IRC for the SMP server and I think that we should get IRC for it again. I like IRC because I have chat logs of what is said in game and I can go back to them if I need to. The IRC bot could display things said in Global and Trade.

i think there are minecraft client mods that save chat logs.

I want the logs without having to be logged into the server. It helps me when I go back to school full time.

Ill try bugging opti about it but im sure there are more important things to be done.

I've never used this with SMP before, although I would love this as an addition.
