Nope, no voting required to use or set them. In fact, you won't have to vote to use your vote home either, though you will have to vote to set it.

I'll be honest about that voting thing. I don't like how we have to vote to use/set our second sethome. It's not that I don't want to vote. I vote every single day pretty much, but it has gotten annoying sometimes because I'm playing in-game and I try using my second home, and there I have to vote. I'll vote, but I'd rather just vote later when I take a break, or quit playing for a few hours instead of having to stop what I'm doing to vote. As I said, it's not that I don't want to vote, but instead it's just that I don't want to vote at that very moment because I'm in the middle of something in-game and would rather vote when I am at a stopping point.


Btw I just donated for the 5 homes package!! You don't even know how long I've been waiting for that one! I've been using a second account to use its sethomes for things I'd need a temporary sethome for. Now I have 5 more which should definitely be enough for me! Thanks for adding that feature, and for $10 it's not too shabby! :)

I believe optical DID state that we wouldn't need to vote to use the additional 5 homes. Meanwhile the second home would also no longer require the 12 hour vote for usage, but the second home and only the second home would require a vote to SET it, and NOT to use it. Those who don't donate for the additional homes will experience no change in voting rules at the present time.
