That part is correct, but why was the topic of blocks bought up anyway?
Tobs already mentioned that Giant spawn eggs can be spawned, but through a command. No blocks needed.

But that's besides the point, Giant spawn eggs will never be available.

I have played on a zombie horde server where they had iron golem spawn eggs and snow golem spawn eggs. I asked the owner and they said it could be done with giants
