Your inventory will be wiped when you enter the pvp area, but as soon as you leave, it comes back.

Wait, Are we Getting a PVP Arena? I am confused? ???

Yes, we are getting an Arena. It's release date is still undetermined.

it's not an arena.

PvP will run alongside the survival experience. users in the survival world may join a queue for a short, competitive PvP match. once the queue for a PvP match is full, users will be stripped of their items, given new ones, and teleported to an instanced and one-time-use PvP world. when the game ends, user inventory will be restored and they will be sent back to the survival world.

the system will likely launch with Spleef and Capture the Flag as game modes to start, with Deathmatch/Team deathmatch/whatever else released later.

there will also be a party system allowing users to queue for a specific game mode as a party, so don't try to suggest it :)
