Pick up monster spawners

Then what about the people selling access to their spawner for a few hours? They are selling access to something they own otherwise you can't sell access to something you don't own. Next off, when people are selling their spawners, they say "Selling spider spawner for 3K!" instead of "Selling area around spider spawner for 3K!".
Why aren't people allowed to own spawners anyways? What harm would that be? Plus it would be obvious if someone duped spawners because they would have an odd number of them which would look suspicious and lead to a ban.

They cant own spawners directly because there is no way to indicate who owns a spawner. Someone else could come along and claim it and then we would have no idea who really owns it.

U know ive understood we cant directly own spawners but i never really thought why, now that makes sense. U cant use logblock to check cuz its natural, so that means anyone could say its theirs

And again, if you want to get technical, they are selling access to the BUILDING for a set amount of time. It just so happens the spawner is inside the building.
But to clarify, it's just easier for them to SAY they're selling a spawner, or selling access to a spawner. Arguing the point is just arguing semantics.

No. This will not happen. We have enough problems already with people destroying mob spawners and trying to carry them around already and placing them wherever-- turning them into PIG spawners. How do we know that this plugin will work and spawn the mob it spawned upon placement first of all?
We're not going to play around with semantics all day. Either it works or we can't use it-- plain and simple.
And I agree-- this VIOLATES the rule about owning mob spawners-- YOU DON'T OWN THEM. You can build AROUND them and claim ownership of the sturcture around it, but you CANNOT own the mob spawner block itself.
