Check why you were banned here: Ban Lookup
We have to stress this time and time again, and it has become a problem with the appeals nowadays. Not only that, but we have to start clarifying things a little more just to get our points across.
(click to show/hide)If you are not the one involved in the situation, please do not make a reply to it, as you have absolutely no right nor excuse to reply to an open appeal. If you have good, supportive evidence or any useful information regarding the ban (whether it goes with or against), you have the right to post.
Our definition of Direct Involvement means that you are the culprit/ victim, or an acquaintance with the culprit/ victim with express knowledge of the situation regarding the ban.

* [He/She] is my [brother/sister/relative/friend]
* [He/She] deserves to be unbanned
* I want to play online with [him/her]
* [He/She] has not done anything wrong
... will NOT work. Please don't try any of those on us. This also falls under the "No Excuses" rule, outlined below.
We have constantly reminded people, in the past, not to reply to appeals that they are not involved with, yet we find that has not really changed. It is not professional and it does NOT help the appealing process at all when they are being littered with useless, off-topic, or irrelevant replies. Please, let us handle the appeals here-- we investigate everything and we do not need random, uninvolved people posting.
I suppose another warning won't help, but maybe suspending people will.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO OTHER USERS' BAN APPEALS IF YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED
If you choose to ignore this warning and post anyway, expect to receive a temporary forum suspension.
This rule applies to members of staff as well. Unless given express permission, only staff members that have issued the ban or that have adequate knowledge of the situation may reply to appeals.
(click to show/hide)Some people like to bring up or point out other people's ban appeals within their own. Please don't do that-- that doesn't help YOUR appeal. Their appeal has absolutely NOTHING to do with your situation. If we find you doing this, your appeal will, most likely, get rejected. Please keep the appeal drawn in on your situation-- do NOT draw attention to other ban appeals.
(click to show/hide)Using the overused excuses of "my friend did it" or "my brother/ sister/ dog" absolutely will NOT work on us. You'll have to try and find a better excuse. It's an overused cliche and we are bored of hearing it, so know that if you try to use it that you will be ridiculed.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACCOUNT.
Even if it isn't completely under your control, there are steps that you can take to easily keep others from accessing your account:
* Uncheck the "Remember my Password" box
* Make a stronger password so that only YOU know what it is

* I was banned for no reason!!!!! ((Have you seen your Ban History yet?))
* My [brother/sister/relative/friend] got on my account ((How do we know it wasn't you?))
* I've been hacked!!! ((This is an EXTREMELY RARE occurrence that someone actually hacks into accounts; it is mostly likely incorrect login credentials))
* I just joined the server and I'm already banned??? ((The Server Rules are there for a REASON. Being a new player does not entitle you to any anti-ban privileges))
* I did not know about this rule ((The Server Rules are there for a REASON.))
* I'M ONLY <insert age here>!!!!! ((Showing off your age does not entitle you to anything))
* Hey, I'm Trusted!! What gives?? ((Shame on you-- you should know better then))
* The moderators here suck!!! ((That's too bad. Please go find another server, as you are not worth our time))
If we allow this excuse to work, it would be an automatic easy excuse that everyone would use whenever they do something bad and want to try to get out of the consequences. Please don't try that on us.
Remember, we ban the ACCOUNT, not the User behind the account.
(click to show/hide)We have had people in the past create polls on their ban appeals. The fact of the matter is that when you create a poll, you're essentially begging us to unban you and making yourself look like a victim. If you want any input on your ban, it's probably best that you don't create a poll-- that way, you'll get an honest answer and it makes it look better when people don't feel obligated to make you look bad.
Please do NOT create polls on your Ban Appeal
(click to show/hide)Know that we are a high-traffic server, so we get a lot of players in and out on a daily basis. As such, we try to serve as many people as possible, and that means acting on your best behavior. On our busiest days (predominantly the weekends), we aren't able to help every single person at once-- that's just the reality of moderation. When people start to disrespect the staff or the server in general, they get the banhammer, and then they act like a victim of some horrible crime.
This means that if you mess around and troll/ harass other people, damage other people's property on purpose or "for teh lulz," chat spam or otherwise make the staff miserable, we will just ban you. That is destructive behavior and we will not tolerate that (plain and simple).
Please note that being here is a Privilege-- not a right. WE DO NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING-- you are using something that the server owner spends a lot of money on, and if you can't respect that, we will not hesitate to ban you. Discouragement is not an option.
On a similar note, we expect respectful behavior in your appeals as well. If you, consistently, exemplify any rude behavior to anyone, we will simply not deal with you and your appeal will be auto-rejected. Please make yourself worth our time or we may not let you back on.
This is a mature community, so we expect you to return the favor. If not, tough luck.
