No. Not going to happen. We have a rule on killing other players.

And besides that, the coding required to do something like this would be phenomenal. We already have issues server-side and we are not willing to clutter up the server even further with unnecessary code. It will require an entire plugin just to do this, because there is nothing that we can do to code iron golems to do this, since their code is reflected by the game itself and therefore directly influences their behavior-- NOT by the server.

And I agree. This would not make things any simpler-- it will, rather, do the complete opposite.
