Dear Zen, it is up to Optical and the other admins to decide if this happens or not, since introducing the New update with the ores would require a world restart I believe. In such case, admins would have to decide to release this map in the next few weeks or hold it off for at least (another) month before the update comes out.

What about the old worlds borders? Will it be expanded once more, along with the release of the new world?

This world looks absolutely amazing. It was great to have the opportunity to work on a server project such as this. I cannot wait for its release. I am surely going to miss worldedit though.
