I was thinking that an Auction plugin could be added to SMP maybe?
I have seen them on other servers and personally I think they are great.

We already have the auction part of the forums in place. I, myself, think it's a much better alternative to a plugin doing things for you rather than two players actually talking to each other and discussing the trade.

I'd say a plugin is more quick anf efficent, trying to get on at the same time as someone is difficult sometimes if they buy it off the forums

It's fairly easy with password protected chests, or chests only the person trading can access. Although that does leave room for them to either not give you the product and take your money or the other way around. it comes down to trade with people you trust.
