Why don't we show them a bunch of things around our server an just tell them why we do!

We are a SMP server who tries to keep it as vanilla as possible. We have a market, but that's it. We have many ways to protect from grief and loads of tools to moderate our server (maybe not expose LogBlock or Antigrief). There are two worlds

Show people about our server, show people the awesome things that are on the server: like mob spawners, homes, spawn.
Tell them about where to find things, how to do things, give little guides on how to make castles, homes etc.  Stuff like that :)

You just pretty much said what I did 2 months ago lol

Technically, mob spawners and stuff like that are a part of Minecraft no matter where you go.

Why not just take videos of certain peoples home and post them? Or if Optical has a recording of building planet express than that would be a great time lapse to put up to promote the server!
