Hey there,
We have updated the vote page at www.opticraft.net/vote with various improvements which should make it much easier for you to vote for us.
The new features include being able to view and fill out the captchas directly on the page, as well as showing you which sites you can currently vote on, and when you will be next eligible to vote again on them.
The improvements were developed by deject3d, so many thanks to him for his efforts in doing so.
It is worth noting that this is still a beta system, so please report any bugs or suggestions so we can iron them out. Feedback is appreciated to, so please do let us know what you think.

I like the new vote system ;D.
It tells us exactly how much time left before you can vote again which I think is a lot better.

works for me, but i do have a little bit of lag :/
when i click the vote buttons it slows down and i have to wait for it to unfreeze before i can do anything on the opticraft site.
other sites still work, its just this one that freezes completely for me

It keeps saying "we think you are using a proxy to access our site"
And I don't have a proxy
Is that with google chrome or with my internet?

gTop100 asked me twice for captcha as well

I think this is better and faster, but overloads my connection more.
With that way, they players have not the chance to cheat for their diamods, as that was possible witht he previous system..

If you get the capcha right, you will not have to type it again on the voting site.

Yeah this system ensures that people actually vote for the server, rather than just clicking the 4 vote buttons.
So the server will probably see a hell of a lot more votes now, as i'll bet alot of people couldn't be bothered to type the captcha's.

this should definitely not be the case. the only site this could happen on is gtop100, as they seem to have some weird cookie test thing. if this is happening on other sites as well, please provide more information like what browser you're using and if you're on a home connection. could someone else be voting from your ip? a brother, maybe?

I can't vote on XtremeTop100.
For one there is no captcha there, when I clicked "vote" button it directed me to a page that said something along the lines of "Fill out all of the information". So I refreshed the page and tried to vote on it again, redirected to a page saying "Enter in a username!". (Yes I filled out my username).
I'll try again later.

the xtremetop100 captcha is being reverted to the old "click here to vote" method until i can figure out why it isn't counting votes. you should now be able to click "vote" then you must type in the captcha on xtremetop100 like normal.
please don't be discouraged from voting on xtremetop100, it's the most important vote site for us :)

No, it works for me, you just have to type it once: the one on the opticraft site!

Skepter minecraftservers.net does not allow me to vote
and wants me to type the word twice(well it happens with all sites)
But minecraftservers.net keeps saying " we think you are using a proxy to access our site please try again later"

I am having so many problems with this voting page :(
gTop100 keeps telling me 17 minutes left, for the last 9 hours, I got the MinecraftServers captcha wrong (I think) and I can't vote again for it, all in all its a lil frustrating :-\

Interesting..... what browser do you use?? I use google chrome. You do have to reload the webpage for the time to update.
I'm sorry to hear that you people are having trouble... coz it works fine with me
