Hello all,
I'm wanting to make a cinematic video showing off some of the awesome creations people have made.
Only problem is that I haven't been on the server for over three years and I'm not sure where to start.
If you think you have made something unbelievably awesome and would like me to have it in the video leave a reply telling me your Minecraft Username, what you call your creation and a link to it's location on the live map (http://www.opticraft.net/map/smp)

Well, I didn't make it, as it was a group project (I'm actually one of the newer people)
But it's called Stuttgart, and I believe it's the largest city in Opticraft, not as actively built in anymore but coordinates are http://www.opticraft.net/map/smp/#/-3931/64/-1832/-2/1/0
or you can use /warp stuttgart in-game.
Another cool build is Mewtwo's Palace built by UnknownHedgehog it's right next to /warp market

Awesome, should be nice to see! Reminds me of the video I started making but lost motivation after my hard drive was wiped (back stuff up!), might give some inspiration - not sure where the builds are but should be able to find them on the livemap if you need :D

I love doing this kind of thing. I'm currently studying digital media and hope to get a job doing it in the future.
And don't worry, I have backups! (I learned from experience)

I'd love a good video of Aquain, my underwater city!
But if you are going to do a video of it, I request you use my custom texture pack when viewing it. I made the texture pack specifically for the city and you can't really appreciate it without it. You'll also need Optifine for the pack to work right.

Come to /home ozzykp to see a view of the city from the surface
Come to /home ozzykp mid to see the middle class domes
Come to /home ozzykp upper to see the upper class domes
Come to /home ozzykp church to see the cathedral. The school is nearby too.

Come to /home ozzykp downtown to see downtown

Yeah, I went there yesterday and it looks amazing!
I can't imagine how much time and effort was put into that!
Didn't know about the texture pack though, I'll make sure to check it out
I'll definitely be putting Aquain in the video.

I'm glad you like it! I've been working on it for over 3 years now (ahh!). I don't always have time for Minecraft, so I've made sporadic progress, but basically the only thing I have done in Minecraft is build this city (and work on the texture pack). Thanks for putting Aquain in the video! Take some time to explore, much of the city is underground, so it is easy to miss a lot of it with just a quick look.
