Update: Maintenance has been completed and the server is back online. 1.8 and 1.7.10 clients can now connect. Disguisecraft is broken - I will look into replacing this component as soon as possible. Additionally I will be looking into implementing some of the 1.8 features shortly (new blocks etc). We do not yet support name changes - so should they come out, be advised that if you do name change, you will lose access to some parts of the server you previously had. This is because several of the plugins we use still do not support UUIDs. I will gradually be migrating these over. Bans and other critical systems now work with UUID's.

Hi guys,
The SMP Server is offline, and will be for rhe next few hours (4-6), while I undergo work on updating it to 1.8 and UUIDs. This is a fairly large chunk of work. Apologies for the extensive downtime. If any issues are encountered, we will continue on 1.7.X. I'll update this post informing you whether it is safe to upgrade. Until then, do not update your clients. I will be on IRC to answer any questions.
