We have just launched the new market! Use /warp market to get there from any world. Along with the new market, we have reduced a few prices like diamonds, quartz, and a few others.
This also means that all of the previous markets will no longer be able to be accessed.

Will we be able to access the old markets by walking from the spawn still? Or have they been wiped of the maps

They are still there but there are no more signs to buy and sell items

out of curiosity what was the reasoning for removing the buy/sell capabilities? just too much to maintain?
and will the few random things that were only available at select markets be added to the new one? vines would be one of the things i can think of off the top of my head, was available at the original guest market, and they're kind of a pain to farm out.

We just wanted one uniform market. It is much easier to keep track of and that way when prices change you don't have to deal with it multiple times. We actually took out a few items from all the previous markets so what is in there now is pretty much what is going to be in there until future updates.

Yay! I got scared for a sec when I saw the old one was being discontinued. If the new one I slated out the same that'll work just fine then. :)

Yeah but if mojang actually makes the villager's trade offers better like they said they will, then buying emeralds I could see possible.

Then in that case they will probably add them. For now, they are almost never used.

well I personally would love to be able to build with emerald blocks, so even if they sold the blocks in the market and those blocks can't be turned back to emeralds I would be happy.

Ok now that I have been using the new market quite a bit, I must say this is my favorite ones out of them all. This one is very very organized and can hold more items in the future. I am very glad you made this market and connected all the worlds to it.

If you're adding things to the market, can you add emerald and redstone ps's? We cant collect them with silk touch.-hi45070

You can obtain apples as side product when you farm oak trees (regular or dark, both drop apples).
