pretty simple, essentials already comes with a command for viewing item recipes, it's /recipe <item> and it'd b cool if we could have access to it.
would make life easier and instead of having to tell people recipes or send them to google we could just tell them to /recipe <item>.
how bout it?
-
I see no negatives to this. I'd like to have it, and if you don't want it then don't use it.
-
There's some ups and some downs to this, I honestly would love this but some may feel that this would be another blow to the already faint survival aspect of this server. Though as MrMrMr said, if you don't want it, don't use it.

I don't see how this is this a "Blow to the Survival Part" This is no where near to complete blow. 1.) You don't have to use it, and 2.) The wiki is where everyone learns it anyways. Almost everyday I see someone who needs to know how to make something like a lead. I really agree with this idea.

Normally I would say that it ruins the survival aspect to something like this but honestly you can just look it up anyways so there would be no problem to this.

I really like this idea, saves explaining it awkwardly to players
i dont think it ruins the survial aspect just helps players learn the recipes til they dont have to use it, dont like the idea of it? then don't use it :)
-
meh.
when people play survival on single player, they'll open the wiki page for crafting recipes anyways.
it's not like those who remember the crafting recipes discover them, they went to the wiki too. we all do.
-
I think it wouldn't impact any aspect of survival. A useful addition.

its good idea,

I Honestly like this idea, it will help alot of new players out.
Even though there is a wiki, This would make it much easier.

Add the command! I'm in!

As far as I know, optical made his own version of Essentials, so he'll have to add that in himself.

Pretty sure we still use the default essentials for some/most things.

Chrome is not slow, it must be your internet, it loads pages faster than safari, firefox and explorer.

Its my computer. >.< I have an average of 65mbps download speed but all my browsers are slow. Comes from sharing my computer with a technologically challenged mother.
But let's not get off topic. Thank you Tobs and Nick ^_^
-
Well yes.
Thanks a bunch to Nick and Tobs for adding the /recipe command.
Not that I need it.

Apparently nobody knows that we have /recipe, I use it all the time, it might be different with everyone else, but I have it and use it very often.-hi45070
