Opticraft now has an official youtube channel! Our first video is a fantastic promotion video for our SMP server made by our Operator xDeekay.

DeeKay did make a previous promo video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ho-D32IBTk) but this is on the new member world and brand new, not on the guest map ;)

My video doesn't belong in that channel, because it is not intended for any specific server. Also, I may be planning on making a better video to replace the current one.

This channel is to be kept Opticraft exclusive, and ONLY those that meet the admin's requirements. The channel is not there to be a dropbox for everyone's short videos of their everyday adventures or whatnot.

Why don't we show them a bunch of things around our server an just tell them why we do!

We are a SMP server who tries to keep it as vanilla as possible. We have a market, but that's it. We have many ways to protect from grief and loads of tools to moderate our server (maybe not expose LogBlock or Antigrief). There are two worlds

Show people about our server, show people the awesome things that are on the server: like mob spawners, homes, spawn.
Tell them about where to find things, how to do things, give little guides on how to make castles, homes etc.  Stuff like that :)

You just pretty much said what I did 2 months ago lol

Technically, mob spawners and stuff like that are a part of Minecraft no matter where you go.
