Suggestions / Ticket System
« on: March 04, 2012, 04:35:59 pm »
This morning when the server crashed there was a huge issue I was seeing while helping out with the questions while drowse dealt with difficult griefing. The chat was constantly being spammed so that it was hard to see all the issues she was being asked to fix. I was thinking that there could be a plugin for players to write tickets, and these tickets stay in a Long that mods+can access, with details about the problem. Mods then take the ticket resolve it and delete or move the ticket to a resolve area.

Why you should become a moderator: I'm online most mornings in my time zone, which is when a lot of members have been getting online and where the current mods have been having trouble keeping up work loads. I do my best to help members out as is, answering questions when I can, Placing water when mods are not online or busy with grief. I'm online in mumble all the time, and most everyone knows who I am that stays in mumble. I'd say I'm fairly trusted by most of the staff as they've let me assist them in a few of their builds and designs, and am an all around nice guy. I've also ran my own servers from other games at moderate success, as well as been rule enforcers/Admin/Gm/Whatever various name they are called, on a few other games since I was 15. Just let me know what you guys think thanks for the review!

Suggestions / Trees, and their mechanics
« on: March 02, 2012, 06:21:15 pm »
I've noticed and heard a few mods mention their annoyance at cleaning up floating trees around the server, I personally think they are ugly, and suggest that maybe we could find one of the plugins for bukkit that lets trees fall when the bottom log is cut, to prevent ugly trees floating everywhere especially since mods no longer have superpick.

To counterbalance the clearing of forests there should be auto planting plugin that replants saplings when they hit the ground too keep our forests from being 100% clear cut. Some will say this will make minecraft too easy. I dont see how it makes it easier, just simpler instead of having to climb to cut down trees they act like real trees and like every other plant in minecraft works, and prevents the ugly floaters.

Suggestions / Scuba Pumpkins
« on: February 14, 2012, 10:59:20 am »
I've seen this on the Worldguard plugin used with bukkit before, what it is that in addition to keeping endermen at bay, pumpkins also let you breathe underwater when worn allowing for easier underwater builds. I've had fun with this in the past and I think it would be nice, but that's just me. It could be also useful if your afking near water and someone wants to push you in:P

Support / mobs spawning on mycelium
« on: February 14, 2012, 06:46:57 am »
If I'm not mistaken only mooshrooms are supposed to be able to, but im getting quite a few of everything that normally spawns in the overworld on mycelium, is this intended?

Suggestions / Player Killing with Gravel and Sand fix?
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:56:19 pm »
Well with the really poor policy (IMO) of not refunding items (Nick I lost that pick again this time  to some guy who killed me with gravel) I decided I would make a suggestion.

While looking through world guard a while back I noticed it had the option to turn Gravel and Sand Gravity off so they function like every other block in the game, I personally think this would be a good idea when it comes too those pesky people stealing our stuff.

Suggestions / Autoclosing doors
« on: January 29, 2012, 08:17:53 pm »

It would be nice to have wooden doors that auto close to keep people out of your place when you accidently forget to close them or, when they just don't wanna respond.
