Minecraft [1.8 Snapshots]

Hi all,

Here is a list of all the current snapshots of version 1.8 of Minecraft! We hope to keep the list updated.

Snapshot Name Format: YYwWWx: YY = year, WW = week of the year
'w' preceeds the week number
'x' is a variable representing the number of snapshots in a week: a, b, etc.

* Better fullscreen, for Mac OS users

Nobody here is forcing us to play the game in a particular way. If you want to play it vanilla style, that's fine. If you want to replace the new sounds with the old or change the music, that's fine too. If you don't like any of the new features and just want to play the older versions, by all means, do that. There is no right or wrong way to play Minecraft.

Well, that went fast. Lots of snapshots between last Thursday and today.

13w47a was released, featuring Twitch.tv livestreaming straight from the game! It is now 13w48b, which showcases a multitude of bugfixes and other shenanigans!
