not quite sure if this is offtopic or not but...
seeing as minecraft is no longer beta, when the server gets updated to 1.0, will it still be beta.opticraft.net?

The server is on 1.8 at the moment. It should be upgraded to 1.0.0 by next week, hopefully

people that have the knowledge to be able to downgrade should still be able to play at the moment...
but whats the point when there's only a limited number of people, the server will be empty and you might as well
play single player in that case ;P

I don't know why but I was finding it hard to find a 1.8 download.. maybe it was just me, but I couldn't actually find one. But no point downgrading as of now... seeing as the 1.0 should will hopefully be up in the next couple of weeks. If Optic isn't too busy.

Anyway! I wish that happen soon. It will allow me to play first time the SMP with some friends.. I log in rarely in SMP as 1.8 but it is only me and the creepers..
